Best Sustainable Energy Home 2011 – NE Region
Hi everyone,
On Friday 3rd June the North East Branch of the Master Builders of Victoria held their Annual Regional Building Awards.
I'm very pleased to tell you that Ovens & King Builders came away with the award for "Best Sustainable Energy Home" 2011 for the construction of 12 Arlington Park Drive, Wangaratta.
This is a fitting reward for an outstanding collaborative effort between our clients, Jim & Renata Lewis, Building Designer Tracey Toohey and the staff, suppliers and Sub-contractors who work with us here at Ovens & King Builders.
In 2009 we were the recipients of the same award for 89 Peipers Lane Whitfield, another great example of a thermally efficient home built with a focus on sustainability.
12 Arlington Park is an outstanding example of an energy efficient design that has been achieved without sacrificing contemporary standards of finish and aesthetic design.
The end result has been a dwelling with a high level of functionality and thermal efficiency that means Jim & Renata’s comfort and lifestyle is catered for in a home that complements its surrounds and achieves low levels of energy consumption.
